All Star Cheerleading
Full Season Teams
All Star Novice is designed for athletes who possess minimal to no prior experience. This program introduces participants to a competitive atmosphere without the pressure of traditional scoring or direct competition against other teams. Athletes will showcase a 1:30 routine at events, where they are assessed solely on the execution of skills, with no specific difficulty requirements. Evaluation is based on a rating system of Outstanding, Excellent, or Superior, reflecting their performance score rather than a placement ranking.
All Star Novice
All Star Prep teams emphasize fostering confidence in the essential skills needed for athletes to participate on an All Star Elite team. These teams require minimal to no prior experience. They will practice twice a week for 1.5 hours and compete in six events each year. This program provides your athlete with a comprehensive understanding of All Star cheer at a more affordable cost and with a lower time commitment. To qualify for team placement, mandatory skills include a cartwheel and a forward roll.
All Star Prep
All Star Elite is tailored for experienced athletes. The primary objective of Elite teams is to assist athletes in achieving their maximum potential. Generally, athletes are expected to have a minimum of one year of experience on a prep team before advancing to Elite.
The Elite division encompasses Levels 1 through 7, which are categorized into various age groups: Tiny, Mini, Youth, Junior, and Senior. Moreover, the tryout process for these teams is typically more rigorous.
Elite teams usually participate in around 7 to 8 competitions along the East Coast, with the chance of a post-season competition. To qualify for these events, teams must earn bids during regular season competitions. These qualifying events include, but are not limited to, The Summit, D2 Summit, The One, and The Cheerleading Worlds
